Staber Washing Machines
Staber clothes washers use approximately 165 watts of power, use less water and extract water so well during the spin cycle that less power is used drying clothes. STABER clothes washers are the only washers manufactured in the U.S. that can be used on an AE System without voiding the warranty. See our article entitled “Clothes Washers and Alternative Energy Systems”. If a “STABER” washer is used instead of an older “electric hog” washer, like the Maytag mentioned above, a Honda EM5000is gas generator (with remote electric start) could be used instead of the larger EM7000is. This could save approximately $1,310.00. This savings would be more than enough to pay for a new Staber washer. Please see:
